Scoutleader Richard Ward said: “It’s an annual plant sale we hold to raise funds for the group - we buy in nursery grown plants and sell them and we do a pre-ordering service where we send out fliers to people on our contact list with a price list and they can ring or email in with their orders and we put them together. There are 51 different plants ranging from hanging baskets to pot and bedding plants. It’s a long weekend because we start at 6.30am to set up for people to browse around at 8am. The scouts come round to help fetch and carry things.”
