VOTERS in 15 wards in Amber Valley were going to the polls today in the local elections.

Fifteen of the 45 borough council seats will be up for grabs as the authority elects its members in thirds, with elections three out of every four years for different wards.

The Conservatives will go into the election in control of the authority, holding 28 seats to Labour’s 15.
