BELPER Tae Kwon-do school instructor Karl Duro, 4th dan, had five of his students pass their black belt grading recently at the TAGB academy in Bristol.
The successful students are pictured with their instructor and proudly wearing their new black-belts, Laura Brown, Harry Brown, Jack Dakin, Ryan Essex and Kay Charlton.

All students have trained for a minimum of four years to achieve this grade, and were rigorously tested throughout the disciplines of their grading from sparring to floorwork and theoretical, which they all proved to be successsful and proficent.

The club has had a tremendous year with hordes of medals from various championships, including winning the North Midlands area championships again and also numerous promotions within the club.

For more information about Tae Kwon-do held at Belper Leisure Centre and new beginner courses from age four to adult mens and ladies, please contact Karl Duro on 01773 820184 or 07946 593363.

The Belper club is recognised by the British Tae Kwon-do council and Sport UK which only accepts credible Tae Kwon-do bodies.

Enrolment places are limited and on a booking system.
