BELPER Town moved up to ninth in the league with a 2-1 win at bottom side Brigg on Saturday.

They took the lead after 37 minutes through Lee Stevenson's penalty and extended their advantage after 66 thanks to Danny Hudson.

Brigg's Rick Day pulled one back within a minute of Hudson's strike but Belper held on to take the three points.
