BELPER Town are on their travels again this Saturday when they go to Stamford and the following Tuesday Mickleover Sports, the runaway league leaders visit Christchurch Meadow in what should be an exciting game with plenty of local interest.
Manager Dick Pratley has certainly worked wonders with his squad after gaining promotion from the Northern Counties East League, and their recent run of 15 consecutive wins, a UniBond League record, will take some beating.
Sports have a a number of ex-Nailers in the side which will add spice to this fixture which had been postponed from New Year's Day.
A far larger crowd than usual is expected and supporters are advised to arrive in good time to allow for parking and gaining entrance to the ground.
Simon Mirfin is likely to be back in contention soon after having time on the sidelines after twisting his knee in the Derbyshire Senior Cup semi final against Ilkeston, while Andy Rushbury hopes to be available again during the early part of April.

Today's Vote

What do you think of the government's plans to axe free swimming for children and elderly people?
I think it's ridiculous
It's fair enough if it didn't have the uptake they expected.
I don't care. It doesn't affect me.
