DENBY Cricket Club enjoyed a day full of success with three wins and one winning draw from four league games last Saturday.

The firsts remain top of division one after beating visitors Clifton by eight wickets.

Denby (22pts) 143-2 [34 overs] (Liam Glenn 48 not out, C Durham 37) beat Clifton (2pts) 139 all out [49.3 overs] (F Khan 32, J Greenhalgh 3-22) by eight wickets.

There was also a 22-point haul for the seconds who won by five wickets at Nutbrook in division two.

Nutbrook (7pts) 235-6 [46 overs] (B Eaton 55, S Sanderson 50, R Henshaw 35) lost to Denby (22pts) 236-5 [45.4 overs] (R Perry-Taylor 44, P Scott 49, S Payne 48, M Payne 33*, S Sanderson 3-62) by five wickets.

The third XI gained a winning draw from their home game against Clowne Town.

Denby (17pts) 174-9 [46 overs] (R Greenhalgh 55, P Bennett 3-49) drew with Clowne Town (7pts) 111-8 [46 overs] (C Hendley 51*, S Bullock 3-25).

Meanwhile, the fourths recorded victory at Awsworth in division 9N.

Awsworth (3pts) 132 all out [44.2 overs] (M Anderson 44, G Foulke 3-33, M Manley 4-33) lost to Denby (22pts) 135-3 [30.2 overs] (P Kay 31, P Foulke 35, I Sherwood 35) by seven wickets.
