DANNY Briscoe scored his 300th goal for Allenton United as they beat Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure 4-1 away in the Premier Division.

It was a fact he had emblazoned on his tee-shirt as he celebrated.

Briscoe actually scored two in the match with the others coming from Steve O’Connell and Sam Blount. Matt Savage replied for Royces.

League leaders Willington had a Darren Ruston hat-trick to thank as they beat visitors Wirksworth Town 3-1.

Rowsley ‘86 had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw at home with Chellaston.

Nick Baker and Andy Roome scored the Rowsley goals but the draw ended their side’s already outside hopes of a title challenge.

In a match which contained three penalties, Melbourne Dynamo also saw their title bid stutter to a halt as they drew 3-3 with Belper United.

Matt Brian, Danny Guild and Lee Scott scored for Dynamo while Paul White converted Belper’s two penalties before Tim STerland grabbed a late equaliser.

In a day of draws, the bottom two teams Sandiacre Town and Ashover shared the points and eight goals, aShover coming back from 4-2 down.

Richard Fordham and Adam Ross both scored twice for Castle Donington Town as they beat Newmount 4-1.

With Mickleover RBL involved in Challenge Cup action - beating HolbrookST Michaels 3=-0 away - the chance was there for Matlock Sports to close the gap on them at the top of division one.

They duly took the chance by beating Pastures 2-0 with goals from Dan Bridge and Tony Charlton.

Sports’ other rival for a promotion spot, Derby Royals, were also in Challenge Cup action - winning 3-0 at Swanwick Pentrich Road Reserves through goals from Dan Beresford, Jamie Warner and Troy Black.

Belepr United Reserves moved up to third place in the table thabnks to a 2-0 home win opver Shirland Athletic. James Baxter and Mike Smith got the United goals.

Two goals from Stephen Bills and one each from Jack Lawson and Dan Sharp helped Allestree see off visitors Ripley #Town 4-1.

Paul Quincey, Simon Steadman, Steve Rice and Ady Wraith scored to give Little Eaton a 4-1 win over Holbrook St Michaels Reserves.

Collie, Perry and Collins were all on target for Derbyshire Amateurs as they beat Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure Reserves 3-0.

It was all change near the foot of the table as Punjab United hammered Findern 5-0. Kuldip Bria led the way with a hat-trick in the win with Nasken Wilson and Mandesh Johal adding the other goals.

Derby Singh Brothers stretched their advantage at the top of division two after winning 7-1 at Wirksworth Town Reserves.

Gurdeesh Lehal and Jameel Andrai both scored twice in the win with Richard Warbey, Bhupinder Aeien and Josh Hawkridge adding one each.

Sandiacre Town Reserves lost ground in midweek when they were beaten 3-2 at home by Swanwick Pentrich Road Reserves for whom Paul Fretwell, Carl Wilding and Steve Spensley were on target.

Then, to make matters worse for Sandiacre, they lost 4-0 to Woolley Moor United in the semi final of the Derbyshire County FA Junior Cup southern section. Steve Burrell hit a brace and Adam Wragg and Callum Gill one each for Woolley.

Pastures Reserves lost 5-0 to Wirksworth Ivanhoe while Selston Reserves beat Rowsley ‘86 Reserves 1-0 thanks to an Ashley Kennedy strike.

Craig Tipson scored twice for Ambergate and McGill once as they lost 6-3 to Roe Farm.

Daniel Curry hit two goals and Indy Fosal a 40-yarder to help Punjab United Reserves edge out Melbourne Dynamo Reserves 3-2.
