Belper Meadows first XI fell to an eight wicket division two home defeat against top-of-the-table Rolleston on Saturday.
Meadows got off to a bad start with Ryan Buckley out for a duck with just two runs on the board.
Adrian Marsh followed soon after for nine runs at 13-2.
Wickets fell at regular intervals as Meadows were dismissed for just 79 from 31.5 overs.
Tim Williscroft top-scored with 20 and was one of only two batsmen who made double figures, Tom Buckley reaching 12. Extras was the second highest with 16.
The wickets were shared between Luke Nelson (5-27) and Scott Baker (4-27) for Rolleston.
Meadows had two early breakthroughs with Joe Woznicka-Wells catching opener Tom Yates at 8-1 from the bowling of Matt Murfin and Matt Jones catching Paul Allen off the bowling of Ben Buckley for two.
After that Gareth Marshall with 39 not out laid the platform for Rolleston’s win which came at 80-2 off 31.3 overs. Mat Ford was not out 25.
Belper gained one point.
