Belper BC cyclists look back on a busy campaign

With the SRAM Notts & Derby Cyclo-Cross League season now over for Belper Bicycle Club’s members, this is a good time to take a look at the overall standings for those taking part in the recently completed 2012-2013 season.

In the Under Nines League, Lara Husselbee was the third fastest girl, behind Harriet Limb (Matlock) and Rosie Mansfield from Nottingham Clarion CC.

Overall, Lara finished 21st out of 69 riders.

Oliver Brown, Annabel Brown, Caitlin Austin, Lewis Austin and Emily Walwin have also been active this season.

The Under 12s League saw Christian Boon as the highest Belper finisher in 11th place overall out of 90 riders, just ahead of Edward Warbrick.

Also competing in this league were Jack Husselbee, Liam Northridge and Joe Jenkins .

In the Youths League, Isabelle Boon finished 17th out of 74 other riders.

Taylor Marshall, Alice Warbrick and Georgia Husslebee were also involved this particular season.

Out of the 240 riders in the Senior League, overall Jonathan Marshall (Zepnat) finished 17th.

Also riding this season were David Husselbee, Tony Goldstraw (Empella), Shaun Warbrick, Nick Bates, Steve Boon, Nigel Britten, Matt Parr and Adam Britton.

Jane Warbrick was the 7th fastest Vet Woman.

Overall, at the end of the campaign, Belper Bicycle Club finished 12th place (mid-table) in the FMS Team Trophy and 11th in the Mixed Team Trophy.
