Eyes Meadows was the venue for a keenly-contested match between two of the Duffield Dynamos sides.

In the Derby City League Saturday Under 13 Division Two, the game between the club’s Harriers and Dynamos sides ended 0-0.

This season, both teams have made a good start to the campaign, sitting second and third in the league table before the start of the match.

There appeared to be a lot of local pride at stake and both defences adopted a no-nonsense policy of instantly clearing any sign of danger, meaning goalscoring chances were hard to find. Dynamos were down to ten men for the last 20 minutes, when a player was sent off for a last-man challenge and Harriers had their best chances but they were unable to beat Mitchell Parker, who produced an immaculate display of goalkeeping.
