Success for trio of safety stewards at Belper Town FC

Three safety stewards from Belper Town FC have been awarded their NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety.

The three stewards, Peter Hunt, Tom Hunt and Kevin Allen, have been trained and assessed over the season by Repton Training Limited and have completed modules in:

· Helping to manage conflict

· Supporting the work of the team and organisation

· Preparing for spectator events

· Dealing with accidents and emergencies

· Controlling the entry, exit and movement of people spectator events

· Monitoring spectators and dealing with crowd problems

A presentation of the certificates was made by Belper Town FC club chairman Alan Benfield prior to the final home game of the league season with Kings Lynn Town.

Repton Training Limited is a local established company providing training and assessment for the Barclay’s Premier League, other football leagues and to a number of clubs within the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.
