Holbrook Sports had a tough weekend of it on the road in the East Midlands Counties League, losing on both Saturday and Monday.
Saturday saw them travel to take on Graham Street Prims where they lost 2-0.
Holbrook started positively in Saturday’s, taking the attack to Prims.
The home side had the first chance when James Ruishby shot over but then went ahead on 12 minutes as Rushby’s pass was tucked home by Dean Oliver, who drilled it past Daniel Graves.
Prims extended the lead on half-time when Rushby scored a penalty.
Jack Havron, Dominic Hayes and player/assistant manager Vaughn Hallsworth came on as subs at the start of the half and Sports looked to make progress but good work down the flanks was not capitalised on and no goals came from their possession.
Prims had chances of their own but in the end the score remain 2-0 to the home side.
They then followed this up with a 5-1 defeat at Radford on Monday.
Holbrook are next in action on Saturday, when they have another away game, this time at Aylestone Park FC, before they entertain Gedling Miners Welfare on Wednesday, September 4 (7.45pm).
