Members of Belper Tae kwon-Do School have handed over an impressive £1,200 to Macmillan Cancer Support after a day spent bag packing at Morrisons in Belper earlier this year.

The school has been going now for around 20 years and has members ranging from four to 52.

Instructor Karl Duro explained: “We have raised money for Macmillan a few times now and it’s something we’re keen to keep doing.

“We had 30 people taking part over the course of the day and to raise £1,200 from donations for our bagpacking was something that we are very pleased with.

“It was a very busy day and we would like to thank Morrisons in Belper for letting us do it. We’ll be back there again this Saturday (December 22) for another bag packing day.”
