Belper Town drop more home points

UniBond League, First Division South Belper Town 1 Rushall Olympic 3

Belper Town have now dropped 18 points at home this season after this reverse against mid-table Rushall on Saturday.

The visitors got off to a flying start with a Tom Ward goal in the first minute and it was 2-0 with only eight minutes gone when Mark Lowe added a second.

Anthony Maguire added a third on 26 minutes to leave the Nailers shell-shocked.

Belper could only reply once, Jon Froggatt netting from the penalty spot on 79 minutes, and the defeat sees Andy Carney and Danny Hudson's team drop to fourth place in the table with a host of clubs breathing down their necks.

Attendance: 194.
