Derby College student Niall Quinn Jarvis has led his teammates to victory in the Derbyshire Schools Championships, played at Chevin Golf Club in Duffield.
The Derby College team returned a total of 197 - Niall Quinn Jarvis 68-1-67, Jordan Barker (Kedleston Park GC) 69-4-65 and Sean Naylor 76-10-66 - to win by 13 strokes from Brookfield School.
Niall Quinn Jarvis returned an excellent one under par gross 68 to win the gross by one stroke from fellow Derby College Team member Jordan Barker who bogeyed the last two holes for a level par 69.
Quinn Jarvis has now been selected to represent the Derbyshire Schools Golf Association in the Midland Region qualifier for the English School Championship to be played at Northants County Golf Club next week.
He will be joined by Jordan Barker (Derby College & Kedleston Park GC), Will Painter (Derby College & Kedleston Park GC), Mark Porter (Brookfield & Chesterfield GC) and Bradley Moore (Kedleston Park GC).
The Derby College Team of Niall Quinn Jarvis, Jordan Barker and Sean Naylor have also qualified to represent Derbyshire in the English Schools Championship to be played at the National Golf Centre Woodhall Spa.
Niall, Jordan and Sean all members of the Performance Golf Academy Derby, based at Morley Hayes GC.
