Seven-up for Green as he makes his Mark

Mark Green took the honours on Saturday in the MRA when he scored seven goals in Shardlow St James’s 8-1 win over Newhall United Reserves in Division Two.

However,Mackworth St.Francis laid claim to an honour by winning their 10th succesive game from the start of the season in Division One.

There was only one draw in the Premier Division this week but that saw defending champions Allenton United drop further points when they drew 2-2 at Cromford. Meanwhile, Dominic Saniera scored the Melbourne Dynamo Reserves goal as they lost 3-1 to Ambergate.

Lewis Bramley scored the Newton goal as they lost 2-1 to Mackworth St.Francis Reserves.

Gaz Smith supplied the Little Eaton Reserves goals in their 5-1 defeat by Mickleover RBL Reserves in the Second Round of the Junior Cup.
