Derby Concert Orchestra will return to action on Saturday, October 20, with a concert at St Peter’s Church, Littleover.
Conducted by Jonathan Trout, the concert gets under way at 7.30pm and launches the orchestra’s 63rd season.
Pieces to be performed will be Mendelssohn’s Overture: Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage, Britten’s Les Illuminations, featuring soprano soloist Catrin Woodruff, plus Beethoven’s Prometheus Overture and Second Symphony.
Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions) and under 16s get in afree with an adult.
