The Bookcafe in Derby city centre is hosting its Spring Acoustic Festival on Saturday, March 30.
The event at the venue, based on The Cornmarket, will see 20 of the region’s best up and coming acoustic bands, singer songwriters, comedians, poets and even magicians appearing.
Now in its second year, the event has a daytime outside stage and an old-style musical feel to the evening indoor entertainment, which is to be hosted by the comedian Tony Peppiatt.
From 11am, the Bookcafe will spread out across the Cornmarket to provide a large seated area with table service in front of the stage.
The evening entertainment will include acoustic artists, comedians, poets and magicians and booking is advisable.
On the day, there will also be representatives present from the homeless hostels and support services in Derby.
Artists performing include Jamie Beau, Leo Kai, Hayley Queen, Neil White, Scott Thomas, Leere, Alice, Harriet, Tony Peppiatt, Josh Kemp, McGuinness, Silverstein & White, Bobby Crimpson, Eric Charpentier, Clive Moore, Ryan Thomas, Leah Sinead, The Phil Langram Band, Brookfield and Ben Haynes.
