Damon Downs has been making music for the past 20 years all over the world and is at heart a metal player.
Fans will see him pay tribute to Swedish superstars as part of the group ABBA Fever who play at Real Time Live, Chesterfield, on January 16.
Damon said: “It’s the songs we can relate to and leave us smiling with joy or sadness that we remember. A song is a great song whether it’s Motorhead or Simon and Garfunkel.”
Over the years, Damon has worked with the likes of Billie Jo Spears, Lena Martell, Philomena Begley, Miles Hunt and Martin Stephenson.
He’s also played in tribute acts to Queen, Metallica, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Aerosmith and Bee Gees.
