Guitar whisperer plays in Winster

Winster plays host to a concert guitarist, whose virtuosity and easy stage manner promise of a relaxed evening of music from across the world.

Richard Durrant can be seen at the Burton Institute in the village on Friday, March 28, at 8pm.

His ability to coax beautiful, mood-changing music from his instrument has earned him the name ‘the guitar whisperer’.

Richard has developed his very own style of performance. Although he is one of this country’s top instrumentalists, he doesn’t just sit on a stool and play. He stands up and moves around and his stage show is simply beautiful, with specially commissioned visuals and carefully designed lighting.

In Winster he will be presenting a typically diverse range of music.

The show is supported by Live and Local.

Tickets are £8 (£6 for children still at school) from Winster Post Office or 01629 650090.
