Matlock Bath’s Grand Pavilion will be the centre of a 70s revival this week, with sensational global sell-out Abba tribute band Arrival UK appearing on Friday, July 25, in the main hall.
Arrival will play the full range of Abba hits including Waterloo and Knowing Me, Knowing You.
Band members Mark Pemberton, Natalie Brigham, Sarah Cherry and Pete Smith have appeared all over the world, to millions of fans and in more than 20 countries. The Hong Kong Convention Centre described them as “the best Abba show since Abba!”
Grand Pavilion entertainments director Andie Brazewell, said: “We have the full six-piece band and an incredible live two-hour show to help make a really great ‘70s evening. We’d love everyone to come dressed up.”
“It is going to be a fantastic night, especially for groups of friends. We might even have some special surprise cocktails on offer!”
Marketing director Lynn Allison added: “This is a tremendous band, with some wonderful testimonials from people in the industry. Dave Hill of Slade said; ‘So much energy. They Rock ‘n’ Roll’. The late, great Mike Reid said; ‘I’ve seen this firm Arrival and they’re brilliant’.
“With these comments from the experts in the industry, people should know that they are going to have a great evening,” concluded Lynn.
