There will be opera on the big screen at Derby-based arts centre Quad this weekend.
Mozart’s sparkling opera Don Giovanni can be seen in a revival (recorded) performance from Glyndebourne, on Sunday, July 6, at 4pm.
The legend of Don Juan tells how, at the height of his licentious career, he seduced a girl of noble family and killed her father, who had tried to avenge her.
Next month, you can also see Verdi’s La Traviata, live from Glyndebourne, on Sunday, August 10, from 5.30pm. Tickets are £15, £13 concessions, £11 for Quad members.
