Belper Organ Club welcomes Dirk-Jan Ranzijn to town this weekend to play live at their latest concert night.

Widely considered one of the Europe’s best multi-keyboard players, Dirk’s career started in 1985 and, to date, he has recorded 21 albums and produced five concert DVDs.

His big breakthrough came in 2012 when he appeared on the popular Danish TV show Natholdet, which led on to him being asked to play at the Ringsted Festival and other big music event in Denmark.

Since then he has been asked to make a six-part show for Dutch TV company Endemol as well as continuing to play concerts all round Europe.

In 2014 he has added to his act by adding three singers to create the group Ranzijn and the Raisonnettes.

This will be his fifth visit to Belper and his concert is at the Congregational Church on Saturday, June 18 at 7.30pm.

Entry is £6 for club members, £7 for non-members, for details call 01773 827204.
