The first Ship of Fools comedy night comes to Number 28 in Belper this weekend and headlining will be Liverpudlian Ste Porter.

Since arriving on the circuit in late 2006 Ste Porter has risen rapidly and is now resident MC at both Laughterhouse’s Slaughterhouse and Lenny’s venue’s in Liverpool.

His quick wit and warm stage presence make his a great compere and he’s doing sets and Mcing at many big weekend clubs

Also on the bill are Phil Pagett and Mike Dryburgh.

Phil Pagett is a quick-fire gag-merchant in the tradition of Stewart Francis, Milton Jones and Gary Delaney, with a routine of, smartly crafted and diverse one-liners

Mike Dryburgh is a talented prospect who originally hails from Scotland but is now based in the west midlands.

Since starting out in 2014, Mike has quickly established himself as a promising newcomer with a likable personality and an ability to poke fun at himself and the situations he lands in.

The show is on Saturday, February 6 at 8pm and tickets are £7 on 07804 563371 or online at www.shipoffoolscomedy@yahoo.co.uk
