CELEBRITY chef Dean Edwards is the latest big name to sign up to appear at the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair.
Dean, who is resident chef on ITV’s Lorraine breakfast show, will be showcasing his skills at the event at Hardwick Hall on May 26 and May 27.
He will stage demonstrations alongside local chefs in the cookery theatre on the Sunday, May 27.
Chef Simon Rimmer, star of BBC1’s Something for the Weekend, will be in the cookery theatre on the fair’s first day.
With more than 10,000 people again expected to visit the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair it offers local producers and suppliers the chance to promote their goods to local people and tourists.
County councillor Kevin Parkinson said: “The addition of Dean Edwards to the line-up for Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair 2012 adds to what promises to be another fantastic weekend of family entertainment.
“People come from far and wide to visit the fair which is firmly on the culinary map as a celebration of all that is good about Derbyshire.”
