A peregrine falcon has made its home at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's offices at East Mill in Belper, much to the delight of staff.
The young bird has been seen perching on the mill. Trust education manager Nick Brown said: "It's great to have a local peregrine to watch on our own office building. This bird might just be a 2006 youngster from the Derby Cathedral nest since it seems to be about two years old, or it might have come from another nest in the county or beyond.

"It is certainly not one of the two youngsters reared last year since it has no colour ring on its left leg. With luck, this bird might just hang around and attract a mate for 2009."

The bird has been seen on the south and north sides of the mill, perching high up.
