A cat charity is offering people on low incomes the chance to snap up neutering/spaying vouchers for only £5.
Derby & District Branch of Cats Protection is offering the vouchers from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, March 26, at their charity shop at 31 Wardwick, Derby.

All owners have to do is take along proof of benefit and they will be issued with as many vouchers as they need.

Sylvia Plummer, branch volunteer, said: "Anyone in receipt of state or council benefits or Family Tax Credit is eligible.

"The average cost of a female spay is £45 and a male neuter is £30 so this represents a huge saving to those on low income."
