Cat lovers are being asked to step forward and help out a local feline charity.
The Derby and District branch of Cats Protection is seeking volunteers to help staff the Cat-Line for a couple of hours a week.

The job involves listening to recorded messages left by members of the public using their own phones and passing on the information to branch volunteers. Training and support is provided.

Jane Baynton, from the group, said: "The job would suit someone who is at home for most of the day. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to help cats withpout leaving the comfort of their own home."

Anyone wishing to help contact the Cat-Line on 01332 206956.
