Wildlife enthusiasts will get the chance to enjoy two talks by the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust this week.
On Friday, February 20, Martin Roome will show photographs and give a talk on the best British mountain flora as part of a meeting of the Appletree Hundred Group of the trust.
It will take place at 7.30pm at Woodlands Evangelical Church, Blenheim Drive, Allestree. Admission cost £2.
The following Monday, February 23, the Wye and Upper Derwent Group will host a talk about the future of hill farming in Britain.
It will be led by Chloe Palmer, Regional Director for the Northern and West Midlands Region of the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group.
The talk will begin at 7.30pm at Darley Dale Methodist Church Hall, Dale Road North, Darley Dale. Admission is £2.
