After a successful event in September with local band Indie:cision, Bakewell’s Medway Community Centre have another musical event lined up. On Friday 16th December a concert will feature No Ginger, another local band just reformed after twenty years.
Richard Hildebrand, Johnny Nadin, Eric Redfern and Ray Mycock originally formed in 1996 and came by their name simply because Richard admitted to being No Ginger Baker on the drums… but then, who is?A spokesperson said: “Come along and listen to their rock and blues from the sixties and seventies. The event is a ‘pay what you think’ concert so there is no set admission price. Doors open at 7pm. Go to our website and reserve your space for the evening.“Can’t make it to the gig?
