Little Shop of Horrors follows the hapless plight of Seymour, a downtrodden orphan, who is taken in and given a job by Mr Mushnik, the owner of a dingy florists in the seedy part of town,“Skid Row.” Seymour, lover of strange and interesting things, spends his days berated by his boss, tinkering with his plants and dreaming of his co-worker Audrey. One day, after an eclipse of the sun, Seymour discovers a strange and unusual plant that he names Audrey II. The question is what will this plant bring him? Fame and fortune or heart ache and pain?

MMT are looking forward to breathing the magic of musical theatre beck into the Grand Pavilion. With the show being set in the “Skid Row” area of New York, the current ambience of the Grand Pavilion will really help the show come alive.

A recent input of younger blood combined with the experience of longer standing members of the group makes this the ideal show for the company and the venue. The performances will be supported by a live music combo.

Performances take place at 7.30pm on both May 16 and 17 with an additional matinee at 2.30pm on May 17.

Tickets are available from March 17 by calling Tim and Pauline Clark on 01773 821501.
