The hospital’s coronavirus death toll now stands at 103.

Angie Smithson, the Royal’s chief executive, has offered her condolences to the patients’ loved ones.

The latest statistics also show there are currently 2,011 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across Derbyshire – 1,480 in Derbyshire county and 531 in Derby city.
