The company closed all of its visitor sites in March, and is now reminding people to keep safe and stay away ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
Donna Marshall, senior visitor engagement officer, said: “With the long weekend ahead, we know that it will be tempting for people to visit our sites as a place to have their one walk or cycle a day, or even go into the water, but we’re really asking that people still keep away.

“We know that our sites are popular, and that people may be needing a change of scenery, but we’re really asking that everyone keeps away, to keep safe,” added Donna.
“The decision to close wasn’t made lightly, but it’s so important that we do what we can to keep safe, and listen to government advice. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back when it’s safe to do so, but for now, please don’t travel to any of our sites.”
Some of the bigger visitor sites that are closed include Derbyshire’s Carsington Water, Foremark, Staunton Harold, the Upper Derwent Valley – Derwent, Howden and Ladybower – and Linacre.
