Ztaffing is a new domiciliary care company which has been set up to provide help in the home for people across Derbyshire.

Flexible care packages are offered, as they understand that people’s needs change and they may need more, or less, support at different periods.

It offers a wide range of support in the home for the elderly or for people of any age with additional health needs. The support needed maybe a one-off, short-term or longer term or a live-in carer might be required.

Examples of the kind of help offered include support for people leaving hospital after an illness or operation, who may need some assistance as they recuperate at home.

Some clients need help with bathing or dressing, or with preparing and cooking meals or may be isolated and lonely and be looking for some companionship at home at certain times.

Ztaffing can provide trained carers that can accompany people to appointments or for shopping or helping people with disabilities to carry out everyday tasks or simply live their lives to the full.

Carers can also be there when people are ill, or for those who need extra domestic support when having palliative care.

Continuity for you

Continuity of care is a primary concern for the company – that means wherever possible clients will generally be visited by the same people. This helps build up knowledge and trust.

“It is one of the main things we focus on,” said Jineesh Thomas, of Ztaffing, which was registered with the Government’s Care Quality Commission last August. “We always try to send the same person so that we can build a relationship between the client and the staff, and so that they get to fully understand the full requirements of that client and can deliver the best care.”

Experienced staff

He says that senior staff are all experienced and have worked for the NHS or in care homes previously and Ztaffing has its own training programme for members of staff.

After an initial inquiry from a person in need of home care, or the family of someone looking for some extra home care, a senior member of staff will make a visit to them at home, to assess their needs and to draw up a suggested care plan.
