thirteen new jobs could be created if a factory is built on green-belt land in Denby.
Officers from Amber Valley Borough Council have advised that permission be given for the development, which would be on farmland off Derby Road in the village.
Any new building that is erected would replace an existing one that has fallen into a bad state of repair.
The new factory would be smaller than the previous one.
Development would not normally be allowed on the land, but councillors have been advised to make an exception because of the provision of new jobs.
The application has been submitted by Pegasus Planning Group.
Councillors were due to meet this week to discuss the proposal.
