Hide AdShow secretary Jackie Twilley says the day was a huge success, with the weather playing its part also.
She said: “We had an excellent day with over 15,000 turning up.
“We only finished at around 8pm so it was a long day.
“There was good trade and it was very busy, but a very impressive turnout.
“All areas were well-attended such as the agricultural classes, which were full.
“The weather also played its part and it was baking - some could say it was too hot!”
