ALMOST £3,500 was raised at an antiques quiz night and auction held by Crich Toy Library.

Hosted by toy library patron, and antiques expert, James Lewis, the event’s auction and raffle featured prizes such VIP passes for the Strictly Come Dancing tour, a week-long stay in a Spanish mountain village, and a tram-driving experience at Crich Tramway Village.

Toy library manager Ann-Marie McMillan said: “The evening exceeded all our expectations. We want to thank everyone who helped.”

The money raised will go towards development and expansion of the toy library, enabling more families, carers and childcare providers to access it.
