Bosses at Derbyshire’s air ambulance service have been thanking supporters after the service flew its 6,000th mission.

Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) has been providing lifesaving care since 2008.

Phil Bridle, critical care paramedic for DLRAA, said: “The fact that we have reached this milestone is testimony of the hard work of all of our volunteers.”
