Appeal after burglary spate

A spate of three burglaries have been reported around Belper this week.

A grey Giant mountain bike and a red Sovereign lawn mower were taken from a shed on Sandbed Lane, Belper some time between Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21.

Copper pipe parts and light fittings were taken from a property on Nottingham Road between Saturday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 21.

And a chainsaw, lawnmower and rotivator were taken from a shed on Mount Pleasant Drive, Belper on Wednesday, May 22 between 8am and 9.10pm.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information about the thefts should contact the Belper Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.
