Artist to exhibit in town as part of farmers’ market

The work of a Belper artist will be showcased during an exhibition as part of the town’s monthly farmers’ market this weekend.

Anne Alldread, who combines felt-making with other materials to make 3D works of art will be showing off her creations at Number 28 community hall on Market Place on Saturday, August 9.

The event forms part of the monthly cafe at Number 28 from 9am to 2pm held as part of the farmers’ market.

Anne’s work will be for sale, alongside Rosemarie Hartley’s silver jewellery creations and Traidlinks’ fair trade gifts from round the world.
