A Belper School student has been crowned Young Artist of the Year at the Clothes Show 2015.

Toria Palombo won the section of the Clothes Show Creative Awards with her dragonfly design.

“It was such a surprise,” said Toria, who is studying textiles.

“I was really pleased when I found out I was in the final ten, but I could hardly believe it when I won.”

Teacher Sarah Roberts said the award was well-deserved and that her dragonfly patchwork had been carefully designed and executed.
