Biker in critical condition after crash on Derbyshire road

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition following a crash on a Derbyshire road yesterday evening.

Police were called to Makeney Road, Duffield, at about 6.15pm on Friday, October 23 following reports that a motorbike and a car had collided.

The rider of the black KTM was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Police were called to a road crash in Derbyshire which left a biker seriously hurt.

The driver of the black Volkswagen Passat was uninjured.

Makeney Road was closed between Derby Road and Duffield Bank for several hours while officers carried out investigations.

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, are asked to come forward.

Derbyshire police also want to speak to anyone who was driving in the area at the time who has dashcam footage.
