The guest list included Krantech’s loyal subsea oil and gas clients and new clients in the nuclear and energy sector. Also in attendance was the Chesterfield mayor and mayoress.
Formally opening the event at Colliery Close, Mel Myronko, CEO, spoke of the companies journey, the high points and the difficult times during which they embarked with SCR Regional Growth Fund to build a second site, placing them in pole position to take enquiries in for new market sectors as well as supporting their own in-house machining requirements.

Ambitious students from The Bolsover School enjoyed learning about the CNC X, Y, Z axis co-ordinates and how important programming the machines are. Mrs Crossley from the school said: “ We have enthusiastic students who are very inquisitive, we would love to arrange another visit and do more partnership working with Krantech in the future.”
