Businesses in Belper are being asked to buy circus tickets to be distributed to disabled and underprivileged children in the town.
Circus Starr, a not-for-profit company, which celebrates its silver jubilee this year, is coming to Derbyshire to put on two performances.
The not-for-profit company offers free tickets to youngsters by asking for donations from businesses in the areas it visits.
Over the last ten years Circus Starr has raised more than £800,000 for UK charities by donating any surplus revenue to a nominated local organisation. Over the last six years Circus Starr has raised money for Derby Hospitals Charity as well as allowing hundreds of children the chance to see a free circus show.
There will be two shows at The Elvaston Castle Showground at 4.45pm and 7pm on November 8.
