A new tourism and culture website has been launched to help visitors plan their visit to Belper.
VisitAmbervalley.com website features holiday accommodation from four star country house hotels to stylish bed and breakfasts and country cottages. There are also links to Amber Valley’s established visitor attractions such as Crich Tramway Village, Midland Railway, Denby Pottery and Heage Windmill as well as Strutts North Mill in Belper.
Stephen Jackson, Regeneration Manager for Amber Valley Borough Council, said: “Amber Valley offers a varied mix of urban and rural life and a heritage which makes the area a distinctive and fascinating place to visit. We want people who live and work here to visit the places on their own doorsteps and to help us market the borough to people who may be looking to holiday in Derbyshire.”
The web site re-launch coincides with the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Discovery Days Festival.
