Fire crews were called to a burning camper van on a trailer in Belper.
The alarm was raised at 2.25am on the High Street on Saturday, where the parked trailer was connected to a Land Rover.
Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets and foam to extinguish the blaze.
An environmental pack was used to clear up spilled fuel.
Crews worked for 30 minutes and the fire was out by 3.05am. Police were contacted but the fire was not thought to be suspicious.
