Cash and safe stolen from Belper house

Cash and a safe were stolen when a Belper house was burgled.

The offenders forced open a ground floor window to get into the property in Whitehouse Rise, between 12.30pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday, March 17.

Among the items stolen was a large amount of cash, a safe and a men’s wristwatch with a black leather strap.

Detectives investigating the offence want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity between those times.
