Celebration of marriage
Thirty couples who has been married in St Mary’s Church, South Darley, went back there in 1952 to a special service of remembrance.
The Oldest couple present were Mr and Mrs Sam Edge, of The Yews, Oaker, where they had lived all their married life.
Also present were Mr and Mrs James Bark, of Oaker Road.
