Chapel-en-le-Frith teen releases anxiety video
Jake Land recorded the short film in Liverpool’s South Sefton College last month and it is now available to watch via Fixers, a website for young people to highlight an issue important to them.
Often afraid to leave his house, the 19-year-old explained he aimed to help people understand that anxiety disorders are real and should be taken seriously.

Hide AdJake, who had his first panic attack at the age of 11, said he wanted to share his story so others like him would know they were not alone.
His campaign, entitled Cold Sweat, is a powerful film showing what it’s like to live with crippling anxiety. Inspired by his own experiences, it depicts a young man who is overcome by a panic attack in school.
