Chesterfield Ladies FC joy at cash boost
Chesterfield Ladies Football Club has received a £500 cash boost from Mansfield Building Society to help fund equipment for the teams Under 11s and 12s.
Keith Jackson of Chesterfield Football Club said: “We are grateful to The Mansfield for providing these funds. Running a football club can be quite expensive and this will help us.”
The Mansfield’s branch supervisor at Chesterfield said: “The Mansfield is delighted to help a group that supports the local area. The club provides opportunities for girls of all ages to reach their full potential in this sport and it was great to see the enthusiasm on my visit.”
